Dr. Ashley received her B.S. in Psychobiology at the University of California Davis. She then moved to the Big Apple and received her D.D.S. from New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, she volunteered her time with "Smiling Faces, Going Places," which is the first dental facility on wheels to travel throughout New York City providing treatment to children and adults where access to dental care is poor. It was during this time that she fell in love with pediatric dentistry! After graduation, Dr. Ashley moved to Philadelphia, PA and completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. She received extensive training in all areas of dentistry, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, pediatric, etc. She treated children of all ages in the clinic, and assisted on more complicated cases in the operating room.

After completing her residency, Dr. Ashley worked in several private practices where she was specifically requested for pedo and phobic patients due to her light, gentle touch and warm demeanor. "Going to the dentist should be FUN and not scary, and it is my mission to provide a comfortable, painless experience to my patients of all ages!" Dr. Ashley recently returned home to sunny California this past June after residing on the east coast for the past six years. She is extremely excited to join the Kids Care family! She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Ashley likes to travel, eat (she is a self-proclaimed foodie), cook, dance and sing! She resides in East Sacramento with her husband, Brian, who is a resident physician at UC Davis Medical Center. Dr. Ashley is a kid at heart who can't wait to show you her latest dance moves!
