Dr. Gary Lau, Orthodontist

Dr. Gary Lau is a Northern California native attended UC Davis and earned his B.S. in biochemistry while working in the biotech industry researching Parkinson's disease. Although this research had great purpose, he wanted more direct interaction with patients. This led him to pursue the field of dentistry and the specialty field of orthodontics. As Chief Orthodontic Resident at the UCLA, he earned the praise of his instructors and patients alike. He believes that creating beautiful smiles can increase a patient's self confidence and positively affect his or her entire life. In his free time, Dr. Lau enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and playing tennis and basketball. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
